The focus is on how companies can work with the Ten Principles in practice. The main target audience is non-sustainability professionals, so feel free to invite your colleagues. The seminar is exclusively held for member organizations of Global Compact Network Sweden. The seminar will be held in English.

Welcome and introduction
Emma Ihre, Head of Sustainability at Mannheimer Swartling and Chair women of Global Compact Network Sweden,will give a brief introduction to the Ten Principles and what it means to be a member of UN Global Compact.

The Ten Principles of UN Global Compact in practice
These sessions aim to give an introduction to the ten principles and the expectations on the organization. The speakers will give practical examples on how the principles have been integrated in the company´s sustainability efforts.

  • Venkatapathy Vaithianathan, Corporate Responsibility Director at Volvo Group, on the principles of Human Rights and Labour.
  • Mia Edofsson, Head of Sustainability at Akademiska Hus, on the Environmental principles.
  • Mara Hemberg, SVP Group Legal & Corporate Governance at Volvo Cars Group, on the Anti-Corruption principle.

Q&A session
Questions from the audience, moderated by Malin Ripa, Director Responsible Business, Volvo Construction Equipment.
